Over the years, Amazon has fended off multiple lawsuits from brands and consumers alike who say the company doesn’t do enough to regulate the product quality of its third-party sellers. Courts have so far gone along with Amazon’s definition of itself as the ultimate middleman, only there to connect buyers and sellers. Should that change?
